Caprese on a skewer

Ingredients: Cherry tomatoes, a package of mozzarella balls, basil, olive oil and salt.

Elaboration:

  • We wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
  • Using a short wooden skewer, we skewer half a tomato, a mozzarella ball and the other half of the tomato. If we want to make them longer, we can put two sliced tomatoes and two mozzarella balls.
  • We crush the basil leaves with two fingers of oil and a pinch of salt and we season the skewers with this oil.
